Mayah [IO]8001

The 8000 series will encode full SD D1 PAL/NTSC resolutions at bit rates starting at 1 MBit/sec, allowing a single video channel to be distributed over a single E1/T1 connection or satellite channel or, IP streaming.

Both models use MPEG-4 coding using SP/ASP or AVC and support QoS /Differentiated Services (Diff.Serv) to optimise the performance of LAN/WAN/IP Over Satellite applications. [IO]8000 can be configured either as an encoder or decoder and there are decoder only variants both SDI and Non-SDI. ISMA compliance allows the video to be decoded on PC/Mac using QuickTime, Real10 and Windows Media, or on PDAs, Smartphones and set-top-boxes.

[IO]8000 is designed for improving the cost-efficiency of professional broadcast video links.
