Mayah Mpeg4 IP Video Codecs Standard Broadcast Features: - Built for 24/7 operations
- Embedded real time operating system
Power Fail Properties: After a power down the IO8000 remembers the current settings. Once power is restored, the IO8000 reboots in approximately 20 seconds and will then automatically continue to Stream / Decode, whichever it was doing at the time of power fail. IP Down Properties: Upon the re-establishment of the IP network, the IO8000 automatically picks up the stream, no user involvement is necessary!! Alarms can be generated via SNMP. Control can be via Telnet. SNG / OB Van Even if the SNG IP link is a “1 way” connection, the IO8000 is an excellent choice. The IO8000 supports SAP (Session Announcement Protocol) allowing an IO800 running as a decoder to be permanently in "Receive Standby" mode waiting for an encoder to begin streaming. Immediately an IO8000 encoder in the SNG/OB van is up and running it will "broadcast" the relevant information about the stream (SAP). The IO8000 decoder will be "fishing" for multicast SAP information and will automatically begin decoding the stream - no user intervention is required! Automatic IO8000 decoder configuration: SAP allows the IO8000 decoder to automatically alter its configuration to the incoming stream, therefore if changes in the IO8000 encoder have been made e.g. bit rate, resolution etc. the IO8000 decoder will note this in the SAP and follow the encoders setting within 2-3 seconds of it occurring. Once again, no user involvement is necessary! Remote Studio Link Replace costly wideband ATM video circuits with E1/T1 connections. With these kinds of circuits, the IO8000 works with inverse multiplexers offering IP to E1/T1 and multiple E1/T1 conversion. To avoid circuit overload, or loss of headroom ,the IO 8000 offers Constant Bit Rate (CBR) allowing very efficient use of the data rate available. |
