Pleora's EtherCast™, transceivers make remote video or audio connectivity over wired or wireless IP links fast, easy, and affordable. They comply with an extensive suite of wide-area IP standards optimized for applications in high-end security, broadcasting, and traffic/weather monitoring.

Pleora's EtherCast™ ASI-Pro ASI-to-IP gateway is a COP3 compliant compact converter that makes it fast, easy, and affordable to transport DVB-ASI video from remote sites – such as small TV studios, security hot spots, traffic observation points, or weather stations – to central locations.

The bi-directional ASI-Pro gateway simplifies and cost-reduces links to remote sites by allowing the video to stream reliably over economical IP networks. You can add IP connectivity to a wide range of broadcast video equipment, including:

Logging Systems
Multiplexers
Encoders
Receivers/Transmitters
Modulators

One side of the palm-sized ASI-Pro gateway plugs into coax from an MPEG-to-ASI encoder, the other to an Ethernet cable. After a few clicks on a simple web-based interface, the unit is ready to go.

The ASI-Pro gateway's exceptional jitter control, lossless data transfer, and advanced error correction scheme ensure pristine image quality. Multicast transmission is fully supported, enabling the same video stream to be distributed simultaneously to multiple destinations. The ASI-Pro gateway is available as a standalone device or OEM board.
