Offering a receive-only IP audio decoder in one 1/2 Rack width 1U compact unit, the Ganymed 1002A is ideal for easily accessing audio streams delivered over an IP network. Once configured, the unit will maintain a connection to the source encoder or server, making it suited to applications where a PC is neither acceptable or required.

The Ganymed 1002A is a low maintenance, dependable "set and forget" codec with SNMP remote management capabilities and the ability to monitor TWO IP streams simultaneously (Multicast) and switch between them in the event of a primary or main stream failure.
When used in conjunction with the Centauri III 4000, Centauri 4000MC, Streaming server, GAN1002A is ideally suited to In Store and In Branch Radio/Audio services and audio distribution with no ongoing licencing issues to contend with!

This is a professional Broadcast quality IP decoding solution for revenue impacting applications.
