A 4:1 compression ratio non destructive algorithm which is very highly tolerant to both cascading and transcoding in the broadcast and production chains. For audio fidelity of the highest order....apt-X™ is used extensively for very fast delivery of compressed audio in the post production chain over ISDN as well as for the more discerning broadcaster for inter studio and STL Studio to Transmitter links.

The Autosync capability within apt-X™ and Enhanced apt-X™ makes this algorithm highly attractive for Audio over IP delivery (AoIP).
