Product Description
WorldNet Milano is a great choice for inter studio production work, voice and remote contribution due to the availabliity of a linear time code option (SMPTE) allowing Stereo audio contribution and timecode simultaenously, with connections for 4 x ISDN BRI lines (512Kb).
Ideal for Studio to Transmitter links over X.21, WorldNet MILANO can connect to data circuits with bit rates up to 576 kbps for optimim quality. The low delay characteristics of the apt-X™ and Enhanced apt-X™ coding system ensures perceptible delay does not occur making it ideal for FM broadcasting and DAB as the apt-X™ algorithm is based on predictive coding, quality tandem coding degradation due to psycho-acoustic stages within the programme chain are avoided.
WorldNet Milano can automatically sustain programme at full audio quality and fidelity should the primary circuit fail and then auto-recover when the circuit is back up due to the ability to interface with up to 4 ISDN lines.
