A multi-purpose hard-disc based playout software for professional users. Designed primarily as a live-assisted and automated audio source for radio networks, the functionality of the core NexGen2 audio engine is adaptable for a variety of applications, and is especially suited where un-attended audio playback is required. Standard features include a database and scheduler, and voice-tracking for embedding announcements within a programme stream.

The product is available as software only, or with PC hardware and sound cards, depending on specific requirements. The basic NexGen2006 software comes complete with the MusicGen scheduler which allows entire sequences of audio to be created.
